Roberta “Robin” Higginbotham
Robin Higginbotham, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her Master of Social Work from San Diego State University. Her professional experience includes working in geriatric care management with a focus on maintaining independence for the individuals she served, hospice and palliative care, serving those with chronic and acute health problems, and counseling clients in all levels of care within retirement communities.
Robin uses a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to serve the diverse needs of the aging population. She is dedicated to providing client centered, strengths-based therapy. She works collaboratively with her clients to determine and achieve the goals that will improve their quality of life. She has over 20 years of experience helping clients access and develop their inner strengths to cope with life transitions, depression, anxiety, family conflicts and grief.
