About Lauren
MSW, LCSW
Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 15 years of experience dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal growth.
She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University in 2012 and holds a license to practice in Florida. Lauren’s professional journey has equipped her with extensive knowledge of disease progression and diagnosis, allowing her to meet clients and their families where they are during difficult transitions.
Lauren’s career began by assisting elderly clients and their families in accessing services to maintain independence in their least restrictive environments. She then spent 8 years working in acute care and skilled nursing facilities before discovering her passion for private practice. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness techniques.
Lauren specializes in treating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and health-related conditions. She creates a supportive and accepting environment where clients feel safe to be themselves and work toward their goals. As she often quotes Ralph Waldo Emerson, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
