Grace is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She earned her B.A. and her Master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, majoring in Psychology (Clinical). She practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has the ability to use eclectic techniques of other schools of thought when appropriate (Play Therapy and TEAM).
Her professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages in individual, family, and group sessions. She has worked in different settings such as office based, school based, home visits, short term residential, and telehealth. Most of her work experience has been in Massachusetts before moving to Florida. She is from Europe (born in Netherlands/Holland and raised in Switzerland).
Grace looks forward to working with people to understand what is troubling them and to find a solution that works for them. She has experience in helping clients with depressive mood, being anxious, traumatic experiences, difficult emotions, relationship problems, addictions, motivational difficulties, hearing voices, seeing odd things etc. Grace believes that each person is uniquely created, and she looks forward to help people live to their full potential.
