Danielle Binder

Danielle Binder earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in May 2014. Danielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina and Florida and holds a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in the state of North Carolina.

Danielle worked as the only Clinician at a Partial Hospitalization Program where she ran three to four groups daily for patients. The focus of the program was to assist with learning healthy coping skills and ways to manage mental health diagnosis. During this time, Danielle occasionally assisted with filling in at the inpatient hospitalization program as well where she assisted with completing biopsychosocials and running process or focus groups.

Danielle also has experience working with a Family Advocacy Program on a military installation where she assisted with helping active-duty military and their families access resources and support necessary to break patterns of abuse. Danielle moved to Florida the summer of 2020 and has been working providing services to individuals in an outpatient setting.

Danielle has experience in largely working with individuals that struggle with managing their mental health illness (such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder), grief and loss, adjusting to changes in life, personality disorders and more.

Danielle’s approach to therapy is that the Client is the expert, and she is there to assist them with identifying unhelpful ways of thinking or patterns the Client engages in and then finding skills to replace them so that the Client can live a life that is fulfilling.
